Welcome!

Welcome! ARVDHeart for Hope, a Colorado nonprofit corporation, was created in 2010 to support the ARVC/D research program at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center in Tucson, Arizona, to facilitate the detection, treatment and prevention of ARVC/D, formerly referred to as ARVD. We are now a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization!

Our Mission includes:

  • Increasing awareness of ARVC/D heart disease

  • Promoting and raising funds for the ARVC/D research program at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center

  • Providing an instrument for private donors and entities to make a gift directly to the University of Arizona’s ARVC/D research program

  • A source where individuals diagnosed with ARVC/D can obtain helpful, current information about this heart disease

  • A tribute to an amazing 27 year old daughter, Lindsey, who was diagnosed with ARVD in November 2006

  • To advocate placement of AEDs (automated external defibrillators) and a CPR/AED program in all schools to help prevent sudden cardiac death in children and adults

To date, ARVDHeart for Hope has raised over $12,000.00 for ARVC/D research at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center.

Our web site has information about ARVC/D heart disease to help you learn about this condition and give you hope. You can contact us at any time and you can also donate to Sarver Heart Center. All donations are 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE and our donation system is completely secure.

Thank you for visiting ARVDHeart for Hope!
